That Irish feeling

I found a new blog from Ireland thanks to Marge so I thought I would post some note cards I made with an Irish theme. Another blog I like is: thisirishphotograph.blogspot.com for all you with a wee bit of green in your blood.
For these note cards I stamped a Celtic knot, wet embossed it then cut it out and attached it with a pop dot. The envelopes I cut on my Silhouette using Martha Stewart paper. I attached a shamrock to a clear acetate box that chipboard letters came in and added a ribbon.

Caardvarks challenge

I've had a little wooden bird house sitting around waiting for inspriration and it finally came to me. I painted it first and then I covered it with "Mimosa" paper from SEI (love those colors) and added some ribbon, trim and silk flowers. Then I thought " Why not enter it in the Caardvarks "Depth Perception" challege.

Caardvarks "Depth Perception" challenge

I love, love paper crafting! If you do too and want a fun challenge go to Caardvarks for their Depth Perception challenge.

The sponser: Club Scrap

The challenge: Create a 3D paper crafting project.

I created this trinket or gift box by covering a wooden box with patterned paper. I pulled apaer some Xmas picks and hot glued them to the top. Then I added some fabric trim around the edge, die cut a snowflake and centered it with an epoxy sticker.

#3 in the 2 Sketches Ultimate Card Showdown

How does that saying go? " Third times a charm" I don't know about that but here's another entry. I love the Actopus to Zelephant borders from K&Co. and wanted to incorporate them into a card. It took me awhile to make them work with this sketch but I finally came up with this.

OK, here's #2. Better go look at the other entries to see if I have a chance.

1st Annual Ultimate Card Showdown

It's 2 Sketches 4 You's 1st Anniversary and they are giving away $500 in product to the grand prize winner plus 30 other prizes. It boggles the mind. $500 worth of product. I'm sure I am not the only one who would love to win the grand prize. So enough said, here's my 1st entry but not my last.
